I can't think of anything on my end that I might have changed to cause this to happen and I've tried many possible solutions short of reinstalling To paste it either the paste function will be greyed out or it will be there but if I choose it nothing happens. Sometimes I can highlight text, copy, and paste it using the context menu(right click) and other times I can do the same thing and it will copy, but when trying Recently, it seems that all of a sudden using copy and paste doesn't work properly. Also, I have already tried checkdisk and the system file checker tool. I am just looking for some insight that might help me resolve the issue I am having.

Either way, I don't have a problem doing a fresh install of the OS, but the version I have is an OEM version and not retail, and as I understand it you are limited on installing it multiple times with the OEM version on the same machine. I tried to go back and use that system image again with this recent issue and it doesn't appear to be on the hard drive I had it stored on anymore so I am guessing once you restore a system image, you can't use I did create a system image back when I first installed Win7 on this machine after I got windows updates and everything up and running but I had to use it previouslyīecause of another issue I couldn't resolve.
